Construction Superintendent

Reinhardt Construction, one of Central Missouri’s most respected construction companies, has an immediate opening for a Construction Superintendent. Candidate must be a member of one of the union construction trades and have at least five years of experience as a Superintendent. Our Superintendents manage the on-site, day-to-day activities of construction projects including safety, quality, and scheduling. Candidate must be a craftsman and a highly productive person who can lead others to be the same.

Responsibilities
Oversee safe work practices and a safe job site.
Take leadership in developing a sense of urgency on the project.
Lead crews to perform work productively.
Constantly review work for quality and solve problems.
Maintain good communications and relationships with Owners, city inspectors, designers, and subcontractors.
Work with our Project Mangers to schedule materials, equipment, and labor.
Manage and care for company tools and equipment.
Track and submit time sheets and prepare daily reports.

Required Qualifications
Five years of experience as a construction superintendent.
Ten years of experience in construction.
Be a problem solver and team player.
Be able to lead a large group of workers and subcontractors.
OSHA 10 hour minimum, OSHA 30 hour preferred.
Candidates should carry a current union Carpenter or Laborer card.
Successful candidate must be energetic, service oriented, and highly organized.
Some computer skills required.
Knowledge and experience with LEAN construction techniques a definite plus.

Construction Project Manager

Construction Superintendent

Reinhardt Construction, one of Central Missouri’s most respected commercial builders/contractors, is searching for a full time Construction Project Manager. This individual is responsible for project quality, cost control, and schedule adherence, working as a team with project superintendents and project engineers. Successful candidate must be service oriented and highly organized.

Role & Responsibilities
Assist in preparation of project estimate and manage budget throughout project duration
Manage communication and relationships with authorities having jurisdiction over project
Prepare subcontracts and purchase orders and manage the relationship with those companies throughout project
Manage project schedule, materials procurement, manpower and safety to achieve overall client satisfaction while meeting profitability goals and company quality standards

Preferred position requirements include:
A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or similar field
Candidates must have a minimum of two to five years of experience in project management, however, individuals with experience in engineering and architecture will be considered
Must understand commercial construction means, methods and materials, including standard practices
Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to multi-task
Solid computer skills including familiarity with such programs as Excel, GoogleDocs, Bluebeam, Procore.
Have an excellent work ethic
Proven experience in team environment
