Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Office Assistant to support our accounting, construction administration, and general office operations. This is a permanent role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The Office Assistant will serve as a key support person for management, project managers, and the estimating team, handling day-to-day administrative tasks and ensuring office operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
General Office & Administrative Support
Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally
Draft correspondence, emails, and basic documents
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
File, organize, and maintain physical and digital documents
Print reports and prepare materials as needed
Accounting & Financial Support
Assist with basic accounting tasks
Write and process checks
Organize invoices, receipts, and financial records
Support reporting and documentation needs
Provide administrative support to project managers and estimating team
Record and track compliance items (licenses, insurance, certifications, etc.)
Provide general office support to help keep daily
operations running efficiently
Qualifications & Skills
Prior experience in an administrative or office assistant role preferred
Experience in construction or accounting environments is
a plus (but not required)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable multitasking and handling a variety of responsibilities
Proficient in basic computer applications (email,
word processing, spreadsheets)
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
