John has served in many roles during his construction career, starting as an intern while attending Bradley University, working as a Project Manager overseeing very complex and difficult construction projects throughout the Midwest, establishing and growing a regional division, and working his way to President
of a ENR Top 400 contractor.
Mr. Sutherland has served as a Project Executive on healthcare projects ranging from small equipment replacements to complex operating suite expansions to major additions to healthcare facilities. His tasks have included complete oversight of the preconstruction and budgeting process, developing infection control and interim life safety plans, constructability reviews, construction oversight and expediting construction schedules and closeout. His role is to ensure that the
construction team provides exceptional service and that the overall quality and timeliness of the project meets or exceeds our customer’s expectations.
Susan Hart has served in management of commercial construction in Central Missouri for over 30 years. Her strengths include working with boards of local organizations to successfully complete their construction projects with a range of small renovations to new structures. Susan began her career in commercial construction as an accountant in 1990. She worked her way up the ranks into management and help grow the company to provide over $90 million in commercial construction projects during her tenure of 30 years.
She served in various management roles of project executive, project manager and primary client liaison. During her career in commercial construction, Susan has also worked with the housing corporation boards of Kappa Alpha Theta, Alpha Epsilon PI, and Delta Delta Delta for various construction projects.
Mike has served in many roles during his construction career, starting as a Journeyman Carpenter while attending Columbia College, and working his way up as a Foreman, Superintendent, Estimator and Project Manager. In his various roles he has managed a variety of construction projects throughout Mid-Missouri varying in size and complexity.
Mr. Murray now serves as Project Executive of Reinhardt Construction, LLC. In his role as Project Executive, Mike is responsible for many important roles such as estimating and project management for the company. Mike will help carry on the original vision of the 60 year old company while helping the company grow and expand in the Midwest.
Jessica Taylor has construction in her blood. She grew up familiar with the ins and outs of construction through her family’s various businesses in heavy machinery operating as well as residential construction. Jessica’s degree in Art Education from MWSU is an asset to the visual concepts of project drawings and layouts. Over the past ten years Jessica has worked her way up the ranks of multiple companies and held positions ranging from administrative assistant to
Chief Operating Officer.
From Social Services to Heavy Highway Construction, her past experiences bring a wealth of information vital to keeping the office environment running smoothly. She brings a well-rounded knowledge of the players involved in Central Missouri’s construction initiatives along with a big picture understanding of the construction process from the ground up. Jessica’s strengths include obsessive organization and a general can-do attitude. This mixed with a cheerful disposition and passion for helping everyone succeed, plays an important role with the Reinhardt Team.
Morgan Kruse began her official construction career recently. As she was studying mechanical engineering at University of Missouri, she took a construction management internship and found her passion and love for the field. Her roots in construction began much earlier, though, as she assisted her dad in kitchen remodeling, shed building and adding on a deck.
Her strength includes strong worth ethic, organization, attention to detail and leadership. Through her 9 years of participating and then volunteering with FIRST, she gained expertise in these areas while working with middle and high school students. She served as a drive team coach and safety captain during her years participating in FIRST (FIRST is an international robotics competition for kids k-12th grade promoting STEM and teamwork) and has experience volunteering as a design judge and volunteer coordinator for the local FLL tournament.
Morgan Kruse now serves as a Project Manager at Reinhardt Construction, LLC. From her mechanical engineering background, she brings an analytical and technical outlook to all projects. In her role as project manager, she will work with owners, architects and subcontractors to manage quality and safe construction projects.
Kevin Harvey grew up in a family business that focused on fabrication and repair of pier drilling tools and equipment, as well as other construction and industrial equipment. He spent five years in the Operating Engineers Local 513 working as a welder and mechanic before enrolling at Lincoln University to finish his bachelor’s degree in 2007. From there he gained experience in a sand plant, quarries, building bridges and roads, storm & sanitary sewer construction, and other civil projects. Kevin also served as the Quality Control Manager for a new Chapel Complex at Fort Leonard Wood, a +$10M project. Later, Kevin worked in the multi-family housing industry for five years before returning to commercial construction.
Kevin’s projects at the University of Missouri include Mick Deaver Drive Extension (2008,) Providence & Southampton Intersection Improvements, and Hitt & Rollins Steam Tunnel. Civil projects include W7th Street Bridge Replacement in Fulton, MO, New Wastewater Treatment Plan in Marshall, MO, and Rustic Road Bridge Replacement for Boone County, Missouri with involvement from Federal Highway Administration, Missouri Department of Transportation, and University of Missouri Civil Engineering Graduate School. His multifamily projects ranged from $4-9M in O’Fallon, Kirksville, and Kansas City, Missouri and Stillwater and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Mason joined the Reinhardt Construction team in 2022 and graduated with a degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business from the University of Missouri. Mason has served as a Project Engineer and Project Manager on multiple different projects that vary from automotive manufacturing plants to the University Hospital, University Campus and various Columbia Public School projects. As a project manager, he helps be the liaison from the field to the owner through diligent scheduling, organization, billing, and continual communication in efforts to keep the jobs running smoothly.
